ATS Commitment to Data Privacy Compliance
ATS Corporation and its global companies and affiliates (“ATS”), are committed to compliance with all applicable country-specific data privacy laws, including but not limited to, Canada’s Personal information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act (UK GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and China’s Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL). Protecting the privacy and security of your Personal Data is of the highest importance to ATS, whether operating as a Data Controller or Data Processor, therefore, we conduct our business by abiding by applicable laws on data privacy and data security in every country in which we operate.
This Global Data Privacy Policy (the ‘Privacy Policy” or the ‘Policy”) tells you about ATS policies and practices for the collection, use, processing, storage, hosting, transfer, and disclosure of information that we may collect about you through our sites and services, including, but not limited to the website or subdomains of www.atsautomation.com (e.g. our public facing sites and support site) and other websites (including mobile websites and apps) owned and controlled by ATS Corporation and/or one of our global companies or affiliates (the “Sites”).
Before using our Sites and services, you will be asked via our consent banner to provide your authorization and consent for non-necessary cookies and you will be provided with information about the data collection via cookies, including the ones that are necessary.
If entering into a sales contract with us, you will be asked to provide minimal Personal Data to enable us to manage and fulfill your specific business needs.
The collection, use, storage, transfer and disclosure of your Personal Data will be strictly limited to the terms and purpose/s provided. For the purpose of this Policy, the reference to Personal Data includes the terms “personally identifiable information” and “personal information”.
ATS has taken a global approach to ensure compliance with all relevant country-specific data privacy laws, including, but not limited to, regional, national, provincial and local laws in Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom, China, Asia Pacific, Latin America and the United States. ATS’ global data protection compliance program consists of the implementation of unambiguous authorizations and consents, data localisation requirements, where required, and EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), model contracts/transfer agreements, privacy principles, privacy statements, privacy policies, and country-specific registrations and filings.
Personal data
Through our Sites, ATS will not collect any Personal Data about you (e.g. your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address), unless you voluntarily choose to provide us with it (e.g. by contacting us via contact forms, registration, survey, contest participation, etc.), provide your explicit consent, or unless otherwise permitted by applicable laws and regulations for the protection of your Personal Data (e.g. technical necessary cookies).
For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the visitor’s domain name, but not the e-mail address.
When entering into a sales agreement or contract with us, we will collect your name, company and contact details required to address your needs
Purpose of Use
When you do voluntarily provide us with Personal Data, we will use it only for the purpose for which you have provided it, for example, to respond to your inquiry, process your orders, register you for an event, provide information related to ATS products, services and events, manage your support accounts, offer you the opportunity to participate in surveys and contests, register for ATS training courses, or provide you access to additional information or offers. Also, to support our relationship with you:
• we may store and process Personal Data within our global systems and, where allowed, share it with our worldwide companies and affiliates to better understand your business needs and how we can improve our products and services; or
• we (or a third party on our behalf) may use Personal Data to contact you about an ATS offer in support of your business needs or to conduct online surveys to understand better your needs.
If you choose not to have your Personal Data used to support our relationship (especially direct marketing or market research), we will respect your choice. We do not sell or otherwise market your Personal Data to third parties.
Information That We Collect and Use
a) Contact form
We collect Personal Data needed to address your specific interests and requests received through our contact forms on our Sites. Examples of personal information are name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, company name, position and any other contact details you willingly provide to us. For a complete list of all data elements that we collect about you and the use of those data elements, contact our Global Data Protection Officer at privacy@atsautomation.com.
b) Other communications
We collect Personal Data about those who communicate with us such as e-mail address, user-specific information on what pages visitors access or visit, and information volunteered by the visitor, such as survey information and site registrations. This information is used to personalize our communications with you about products that are specific to your needs and interests. Rather than burden you with information that is not relevant or of interest to you, we try to target information that is specifically important to you. No Personal Data is collected, used, accessed, stored, transferred or distributed without your explicit authorization (e.g. via cookie-banner) unless absolutely required to manage or websites, respond to a request you have made, negotiate a sales agreement, or manage a contract with you and/or your organization, unless allowed under local law. At any time, even after you have given authorization, you can opt out of receiving these communications by selecting “unsubscribe” in the communication.
Depending on the purpose for which you provided your personal data, we use the information to improve the content of our webpages by incorporating information that is relevant to our clients, to notify customers about updates to our Sites, to contact customers for marketing and sales purposes (including notifications related to product enhancements, warranties, and renewals) that are related specifically to their needs and interests, to inform applicants of career opportunities, and to communicate with our partners. This information is not shared with other organizations for any reason, commercial or business, without your prior explicit consent.
ATS does not sell, rent, or trade your Personal Data with third parties for any purpose. If you do not want to receive e-mails from us in the future, you may unsubscribe at any time or you may contact our Global Data Protection Officer at privacy@atsautomation.com. ATS follows the country-specific requirements to implement the opt-out within the legally allowed time period.
c) Job applications
If you browse and/or apply for jobs in the Careers portion of our Sites, your application and any additional information that you provide may be used to assess your skills and interests against career opportunities at ATS, and for reporting purposes as may be required by country-specific laws. This usage is covered in the initial authorization that you provide to ATS when applying for a job. When you access our Recruitment System, you are asked to provide your authorization for us to collect, use, process, store, transfer and distribute your Personal Data before you enter any Personal Data. We use your information to communicate with you and to inform you of career opportunities.
Data Protection Impact Assessments
ATS conducts extensive Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)/Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) any time Personal Data is processed, especially Personal Data or processes using Personal Data considered high risk. This may include required transfers to jurisdictions with inadequate data protection laws or processing of sensitive personal data where required by law of business need. The ATS Global Data Protection Officer is responsible for the management of all DPIAs/PIAs.
Data Transfer to Third Parties
ATS uses third-party entities to provide valuable services on our behalf. We will only share your Personal Data with them in a legally compliant manner. Third parties with which we share your information are bound by all relevant data privacy laws, terms of confidentiality, contractual agreements, including data processing agreements, and this Privacy Policy. All of our approved third-party providers go through an extensive data protection compliance vetting process before being selected as a third-party provider. Data Collection via Third Parties
ATS supplements the data it collects with additional data received from third-party sources, by using data append services or data brokers. The additional supplemental data consists of contact, company, and industry data, as well as title, department, address, phone number, and updated e-mail addresses. When using the information provided through these services, we will contact you via email to obtain either your explicit opt-in to continue marketing to you, or your explicit opt-out to remove you from our contact database, depending on the applicable data privacy regulation. Individual Rights Under Data Protection Laws
ATS respects the rights of all individuals including the following:
• Right to erasure/right to be forgotten (unless prohibited by a legal requirement)
• Right of access
• Right to rectification
• Right to restrict processing
• Right to data portability
• Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest or direct marketing
• Right to restrict automated decision-making and profiling
• Right to withdraw consent
• Right to lodge a complaint with a relevant supervisory authority

Do Not Track
ATS may receive data lists containing your contact details from third parties. In countries, states, provinces or regions where Do Not Track laws are in place, ATS will take every reasonable action to validate the lists we have received with the Do Not Track lists available through government agencies before communicating with you. ATS abides by all Do Not Track regulations.
Marketing Via Mail
If you supply us with your postal address online, as well as your consent, you may receive periodic mailings from us with information about new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not want to receive such mailings at any point after your consent has been given, contact our Global Data Protection Officer at privacy@atsautomation.com or write to us at the postal address at the end of this document. Send us your name and address and we will remove your name from all lists that we use internally and/or share with other noncommercial organizations. ATS follows the country-specific requirements to implement the opt-out within the legally allowed time periods.
Telephone Calls
If you give us your telephone number online (e.g. via optional data field in the contact form), and provide consent, you may receive telephone calls from us with information about new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not want to receive such telephone calls at any point after giving your consent, contact our Global Data Protection Officer at privacy@atsautomation.com or write to us at the postal address at the end of this document. Send us your name and phone number and we will remove your name from all lists that we use internally and/or share with other noncommercial organizations. ATS follows the country-specific requirements to implement the opt-out within the legally allowed time periods.
Customers and applicants can prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected and for which consent was given by contacting our Global Data Protection Officer at privacy@atsautomation.com.
Correction and Deletion of data
Upon request, ATS offers visitors on the Sites and/or our customers the ability to have their information deleted (where allowed by law) or corrected for inaccuracies. To have your information deleted or corrected, contact our Global Data Protection Officer at privacy@atsautomation.com or write to us at the address at the end of this document. We will respond to your request within the country-specific time frames.
We will retain your personal information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy and/or in accordance with applicable federal, regional, country, state, provincial or local data retention regulations. ATS has an extensive Records Retention and Deletion Policy and Schedule that forms the basis of our records retention program.
If you use communities, blogs, or chat rooms on ATS Sites, you should be aware that any Personal Data you submit there can be read, collected, and used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. ATS is not responsible for the Personal Data that you choose to submit in these public forums.
Right to Be Forgotten
ATS is committed to taking all reasonable steps necessary to ensure that any data you request to be forgotten and can be erased with existing technology will be erased. However, any data you post to our Sites that you agree to make available to third parties or for which you make public, is outside the boundaries of which ATS can erase. ATS will do everything technically possible to erase your data if you feel it is being held for longer than needed or if you withdraw your consent to receive information from us and request the right to be forgotten. However, ATS will not be able to erase your data if:
• it is technically impossible;
• it is required to manage a business relationship; or
• it is required to be retained for legal reasons (if mandated by local law)
Purpose Limitation
ATS will collect, use or disclose Personal Data supplied by you only for the purposes disclosed to you, unless the disclosure:
• is a use of the Personal Data for any additional purpose that is directly related to the original purpose for which the Personal Data was collected
• is necessary to prepare, negotiate and perform a contract with you
• is required by law or the competent governmental or judicial authorities
• is necessary to establish or preserve a legal claim or defense
• is necessary to prevent fraud or other illegal activities, such as willful attacks on ATS information technology systems.
Communications or Utilization Data
Through your use of telecommunications services to access our Sites, your communications data (e.g. Internet protocol address) or utilization data (e.g. information on the beginning, end and extent of each access, and information on the telecommunications services you accessed) are technically generated and could conceivably relate to Personal Data. To the extent that there is a compelling necessity, the collection, processing and use of your communications or utilization data will occur and will be performed in accordance with the applicable data protection legal framework.
Non-Personal Data Collected Automatically
When you access our Sites, we may automatically (i.e., not by registration) collect non-Personal Data (e.g. type of Internet browser and operating system used, domain name of the website from which you came, number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed). We may use this data and share it with our worldwide affiliates to monitor the relevancy of our Sites and improve their performance or content. This data does not include Personal Data.
“Cookies” – Information Stored Automatically on Your Computer
Propensity management is the management of an individual’s inclination or natural tendency toward certain interests, products, needs, and so on. In order to tailor our communications with you to make sure that we are addressing your specific needs and not overwhelming you with unwanted information, we use cookies to handle propensity management. A cookie is a piece of information that is stored on your computer’s hard drive by your Web browser. When you revisit ATS Sites, our server recognizes the cookie, giving us information about your last visit. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can alter the settings of your browser to prevent automatic acceptance. If you choose not to receive cookies, you can still use most of the features of our Sites.
This privacy statement covers the use of propensity management by this site only and does not cover the use of propensity management by any advertisers. We work with companies that use third-party cookies and web beacons to collect anonymous information that helps us measure and improve our content and advertising effectiveness. These companies collect and analyze anonymous usage and volume statistical information from our users. This data is collected only in aggregate form.
ATS complies with all global regulations regarding the use of cookies, including the EU Cookie Directive and e-Privacy Regulation. Clear Gifs (Web Beacons, Web Bugs)
We may employ software technology called clear gifs (also known as web beacons or web bugs) along with other technologies such as e-tags, java script, and/or other capabilities that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies that are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs, which are about the size of a period, are embedded invisibly on Web pages. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs, e-tags, or java scripts to anyone’s personally identifiable information. Children
ATS will not knowingly collect Personal Data from children without insisting that they seek prior parental consent if required by applicable law. We will only use or disclose Personal Data about a child to the extent permitted by law, to seek parental consent pursuant to local law and regulations or to protect a child. The definition of “child” or “children” should consider applicable laws as well as national and regional cultural customs.
Security
To protect your Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss or alteration and against unauthorized disclosure or access, ATS uses industry standard technical and organizational security measures.
Links to Other Websites
ATS Sites contain links to other websites. ATS is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of other websites.
Data Security Breaches
To protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access and use, or accidental loss and destruction, ATS has implemented strict security controls and intrusion detection software to notify us in the case of any potential or actual invasion of our systems. We have implemented a Data Breach Notification Policy and have established an Incident Response Team that has been trained to react immediately to any unauthorized access of our databases and systems. Should any data security breach occur that materially and negatively impacts your Personal Data, you will be notified as required by law once the breach has been determined.

数据保护影响评估
在处理个人数据（尤其是被认为具有高风险的个人数据或涉及高风险个人数据的处理流程）时，ATS 均会开展全面的数据保护影响评估 (DPIA)/隐私影响评估 (PIA)。高风险场景可能包括：应要求向数据保护法律不完善的司法管辖区传输数据，或基于法律要求及业务需求处理敏感个人数据。ATS 全球数据保护官负责管理所有数据保护影响评估 (DPIA)/隐私影响评估 (PIA) 工作。
向第三方传输数据

数据更正与删除
ATS 可应要求为网站访客和/或我们的客户提供删除信息（在法律允许的情况下）或更正不准确信息的服务。如需删除或更正您的信息，请联系我们的全球数据保护官：privacy@atsautomation.com，或邮寄书面申请至本文结尾处所载的邮政地址。我们将在特定国家/地区规定的时限内回复您的请求。
我们将在满足本《隐私政策》所载目的所需的时间内和/或根据适用的联邦、地区、国家、州、省或地方数据留存法规留存您的个人信息。ATS 已制定完善的《档案留存与删除政策》及执行时间表，以此作为我们记录留存计划的基础。
若您使用 ATS 网站的社区、博客或聊天室功能，请注意，您在上述互动版块提交的任何个人数据都可能被该论坛的其他用户查阅、收集和使用，且可能被用于向您发送未经请求的消息。ATS 对您选择在所述公开论坛上提交的个人数据不承担任何责任。
被遗忘权
ATS 致力于采取一切必要的合理措施，以确保您申请行使“被遗忘权”且可用现有技术删除的任何数据均会被删除。但您发布在本公司网站上且同意向第三方提供或您主动公开的数据不在 ATS 可以删除的范围之内。若您认为相关数据的留存时长超出必要限度，或者您撤回接收本公司信息的授权同意并申请行使“被遗忘权”，ATS 将在技术可行的前提下，采取一切措施删除您的数据。但在以下情形下，ATS 将无法删除您的数据：
技术上不具备删除可行性；
数据留存为管理业务关系所必需；
根据法律要求（如果当地法律有要求）必须保留
目的限制
ATS 仅会基于向您披露的既定目的，收集、使用或披露您提供的个人数据，除非所述披露符合以下任一情形：
将个人数据用于与原始收集目的直接相关的任何其他目的
系为与用户拟定、协商及履行合同所必需
系相关法律或主管政府、司法机关要求
系为确立或维护法律主张或抗辩所必需
系为防止欺诈或其他非法行为（如蓄意攻击 ATS 信息技术系统）所必需。
通信数据或使用数据
当您通过电信服务访问本公司网站时，您的通信数据（如互联网协议地址）或使用数据（如每次访问的起始、结束时间、访问时长，以及您所访问的电信服务的相关信息）会通过技术手段自动生成，且该类数据理论上可能与您的个人数据存在关联。仅当存在迫切必要性的情况下，我们才会按照适用的数据保护法律框架收集、处理和使用您的通信数据或使用数据。
自动收集的非个人数据
当您访问本公司网站时，我们可能会自动（即无需通过注册）收集非个人数据（例如您所使用的互联网浏览器和操作系统类型、来源网站域名、访问次数、在网站上逗留的平均时长、浏览的页面）。我们可能会使用此类数据并将其共享给我们的全球关联机构，以监测网站内容的相关性，同时优化网站的性能与内容。所述数据不包含个人数据。
“Cookie” -自动存储在您的计算机上的信息

透明 GIF（网络信标、网络标记）

ATS 网站包含指向其他网站的链接。ATS 对其他网站的隐私惯例或内容概不负责。
数据安全泄露
为防止您的个人数据遭受未经授权的访问和使用，或意外丢失和毁损，ATS 已部署严格的安全管控措施和入侵检测软件，以便在系统遭遇潜在或实际入侵时通知我们。我们已制定《数据泄露通报政策》，并成立了一个事件响应团队。该团队经过专业培训，能够在数据库和系统遭到未经授权的访问时立即做出响应。如果发生任何对您的个人数据产生重大不利影响的数据安全泄露事件，我们将依照法律规定，在事件确定后及时通知您。
